Having aspirations take a lot of self motivation and discipline. As a Lead medical assistant, mother of 3 girls, and wife, I chose to chase my dream of becoming a Nurse. My name is Denise, I am from Los Angeles, California. I have 5 siblings, three sisters and two brothers. I work four days a week and spend my time off with my family, doing anything from shopping, going to the park, or even staying in for a family movie night. My husband and I got married on Halloween, because who doesn't love Halloween. I love going to the movies and just being out and about. I'd say one of my pet peeves are, loud chewing. The sound is just not appealing to me and for some, they enjoy the "ASMR".
My goals are to get through my classes with great grades, as anyone would, and doing it without stress. I plan to do this by making sure I make time to do my classwork on my time off. Also by getting ahead when possible so that I am not over stimulated as due dates come close. What makes me unique, in my opinion, is that I use my daughters as my motivation to get through school and completing my goals. By doing this, I'm not only showing myself that this is possible, but by also showing them that they can do anything they set their minds to. No matter how much they got on their plate.
